Mary Breiner has written for Living Faith Kids since 2014. She previously wrote a series of guest blogs for Catholic Digest. Mary worked in nursing homes as a recreational director before becoming fully disabled in 2002. She was voted Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky in 2018 and continues to advocate for those with disabilities. Married for over 35 years and with one adult son, she is active in her parish, especially in children’s faith formation. She is also a lector, cantor and a member of her parish council.
