After ordination, I served in two parishes before becoming Director of Education of the House of Affirmation. I am the editor of the Silver Gryphon Award-winning book, Slayer of the Soul. I am the author of I Am Awake:Discovering Prayer and Fire on the Earth: Daily Living in the Kingdom of God, in addition to A Tragic Grace and When the Lion Roars: A Primer for the Unsuspecting Mystic. My latest book is The Priestly Blessing: Rediscovering the Gift. I received a Proclaim Award in 1994 from the U.S. Bishops' Conference and a Lifetime Service Award from Theological College.
I am particularly touched by the many people who read Living Faith and go out of their way to tell me how much these little reflections have meant to them. The opportunity to write them is a gift and a joy for me!
